Terms and Conditions

  1. Reservations & Payments

Encosta do Sobreiro makes available three for reservations & payments:

Adavenced payment of 30% of the total amount of the stay, in order to confirm the booking on the website;

Full payment in advance (for bookings through online travel agencies);

Reservatiosn Non-refundable: 100% pre-payment at the moment of booking is required (for website and online travel agencies), which implies no refunds in case of reservation changes or no show.

  1. Arrival & Departure

Check in: Check in time is from 15:30 to 21:00. Should you plan to arrive after 21:00, please inform us in advance, otherwise there may be no staff available to welcome you upon arrival.

Check-Out: Check out is until 12:00. Should you wish to have a late check-out, please let us know one day in advance, otherwise an additional night may be charged in case of late check-out, without prior notice.

  1. Conditions of Accomodation

Maximum Occupancy: Please note the maximum occupancy for each house requires sleeping in bedrooms and sofa beds.

Baby Cribs & Travel Beds: Baby cribs or travel beds are complimentary and subject to availibility, please make a request in advance.

  1. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations of bookings are free of charges up to 14 days before the arrival date.

Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days before the arrival date, will be charge 50% of the total amount of the stay.

Cancellations made between 7 days before and the day of arrival, will be charged with the total amount of stay, as well as in case of no show.

  1. Pets

Pets are not allowed in the property.

  1. Smoking Policy

Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas specifically prepared with ashtrays for this purpose. Smoking is prohibited, without exception, in any area inside the houses.

  1. Other Correspondence

After making a reservation, you agree to receive a confirmation email and others that may be sent from us , with information about the destination and other details.

  1. Personal Injury & Others

Encosta do Sobreiro can not be held responsible for any physical or material damages suffered to the reservation holder and or his companions within the premises of the property.

  1. Fire Protection

For safety, we have installed a smoke detection system in all accomodations, and have basic fire fighting equippment designated by law.

  1. Confidentiality & Data Collection

By doing a reservation, you agree that all details and personal information given is true. Encosta do Sobreiro is governed by high ethical standards and respects your privacy. The details and personal information received are exclusively used for the purpose of our business and to comply with the legal procedures required. We ensure that no personal data will be provided or transferred to anyone or third parties without the prior consent of the personal data´s holder.
