Just 25 minutes away driving from Encosta do Sobreiro you will find the wonderful Mondego Walkways. With options for shorter walking routes of 2km or a total route of 12km, Mondego walkways are a must stop place to discover.
Serra da Estrela (UNESCO´S GEOPARK)
Serra da Estrela is a World Geopark by UNESCO. With breathtaking landscapes, is a place of interest for anthropologists, historians and turists. In winter, ski and snowboard are great attractions. Throughout the year discover Serra da Estrela Geopark and it´s wonderful hidden gems in a Private Jeep Tour available at the property.
Bread and Toys Museums
Go for a stroll and visit the Bread Museum and the Toy Museum in Seia. (The little ones love it!) Certainly will be an happy day with the Family.

Bread and cheese are some of Fornos de Algodre´s most known delicacies, as well as their sausages, olive oil and honey.
Fluvial Beach
At only 5 minutes driving from Encosta do Sobreiro, you will find river beach “Ponte de Juncais”. Is the perfect stop for summer days to have fun with family or friends. Features a picnic area, river pool for the children, canoeing and other entertainments.
